“Seek the treasure you value most dearly; if you bow your head, let it be to a lofty mountain.”
WAPA is an incorporated society, with the primary goal of forging meaningful connections amongst Principals in the West. Our values and mission are deeply rooted in advocating for improved schooling conditions, equitable access to education for all students as well as supporting professional development and Principal Hauora. Our association comprises 102 schools, organised into six clusters. Five of these clusters are based on geographical areas, while the sixth cluster represents our Waitākere secondary schools. Each cluster is led by a president who also serves on the executive committee.
